At The Creek, we believe in having an academic curriculum taught at a developmentally appropriate level. We encourage children to learn as they’re ready, introducing academic concepts in ways that they don’t interpret as ‘work’ – instead, we love to have fun!
Our experienced teachers take the curriculum provided and supplement it with their own ideas, tailored to their individual class’ needs and interests. In addition to regular academics, we also have in-class Bible time.
All of our classes have Phonics, STEAM, Music, Field Trips, Chapel Services, Special Events and Play time as part of their curriculum plan. Learn more about these programs here.

This small ratio-k class, 15:1, is a complete Kindergarten experience at The Creek! Our class meets all the state standards of academic achievement but has a wonderful Bible foundation woven in with the ABEKA curriculum. Students in this 5 day class are eligible to promote to 1st grade.
Our Kindergartners are expected to meet and exceed state standards of education, just like public school children. However, our ABEKA curriculum also has a Christian component, bringing more than reading, writing, math, social studies, and science into our children’s lives. They also get to go off-campus for some fun field trips!
Your child receives a quality kindergarten education with the added benefit of small class size and half day instruction.

This small ratio-Jr.K gives older students the opportunity to have a small-ratio, half day transitional kindergarten year and promote to kindergarten in fall 2017 strengthened by this bonus year. Our TK students use our Kindergarten ABEKA curriculum, but without the expectation of mastery. ABEKA features reading, writing, math, social studies, and science but also has a Christian component! Our TK students also get to go off-campus for some fun field trips!

This class is geared for children who will be entering Kindergarten or Transitional Kindergarten in 2017. This kindergarten prep program utilizes our Zoo Phonics curriculum, and is an excellent introduction to the school experience as well as laying the academic foundation for Kindergarten.
Our four-year-old program uses Zoo Phonics which incorporates kinesthetic movement into our phonics program. In our PreK class, children work towards a mastery of letter recognition and letter sound recognition as well as proper letter formation for both lower case and capital letters. We also explore the science, math, art, music and other studies incorporated in this whole-learning experience.

Our two and three-year olds use the Zoo Phonics Curriculum which incorporates kinesthetic movement into the alphabet learning experience. Children are introduced to animal alphabet friends who make the phonics sound of the letters they hide in. In this class the focus is on a fun first year of school combined with small motor development, social-emotional learning, and a chance to explore their expanding world and engage all five senses across multiple learning domains. Potty training is not required in this age group.
