Christmas Giving Service Project

Christmas is coming… and I’m sure you’re busy decorating the house, making plans, shopping for presents and caught up in all the ‘stuff’ that goes into preparing for the holidays.  But as we move into this season of giving (and getting) I want to offer you an opportunity to partner with us to help local homeless children in our community.

Each year around Christmas, The Creek looks for a service opportunity to help give back to our community in need and help our children here understand the blessings that they do have.

This year we are doing a “Pajama Drive” to give new pajamas to children who are homeless in partnership with Family Promise of Orange County.  Our church, River47, participates in this ministry which helps families with children who are trapped in homelessness get out and into housing and get their lives back.

To join the Pajama Drive, simply bring in new pajamas for children ages infant to teen  the Creek by December 12!  Please wrap them up and note on the package if they’re for a boy or a girl and what size they are.

Thank you for partnering with us to bring some Christmas magic to children who are just like us, but could use a little extra help and love this year.
