December News

Welcome back! We hope you had a relaxing and fun Thanksgiving week!

Our pirate camp during the break was a lot of fun – the kids had some great STEAM experiences around the theme and enjoyed this enrichment break camp.

We will be releasing Christmas Break camp sign ups later today – we will be running camps during all three weeks of break. Each week is themed and filled with fund STEAM adventures and hidden academics to help keep your child’s skills sharp when we return to school.

Special December Events:

Chapel – Dec. 1 & 2 – the Red Room will be leading worship for our Christmas chapel at 11:40 on these days. The story is called “Baby Jesus and the Good News” and we will be focusing on why we receive presents at Christmas – because Jesus is the best gift!

Music Class: Dec. 7 & 8 with Mrs. Karen will feature fun Christmas songs and activities.

Class Christmas Parties: Dec. 15 & 16 at 11:15am – sign up for the potluck in the classrooms!

Christmas Program and Cookie Social: Dec.  16 –  6:00pm in the Sanctuary!

We will be using the advent candle lighting ceremony as a frame for our Christmas story this year; each class will be showcasing a special song as part of the program. Our dance class will also be performing!

Doors open at 5:45 for seating.

There will be a cookies and milk social following the program.  Please sign up in the classrooms if you can help bring cookies for the social. We will have chocolate and regular milk as well as lactose free options.

Christmas Break: Dec. 19-Jan 6; school resumes Jan 9
